Our story
HOUM was started by homeownership industry veterans who watched the same moment happen again and again: the keys change hands, everyone smiles, and a new owner walks away with a binder they'll never open. We're building the manual every home should have come with, and a better way for the professionals who helped them get there to stay part of the story.

HOUM (short for Homeowners User Manual) is a digital dashboard for your home. It keeps every appliance manual, maintenance task, warranty, and important document in one place, and reminds you what your home needs before it becomes a problem.
We're building smart features carefully. Today, HOUM is about getting organized: you add your appliances, documents, and receipts, and HOUM suggests a starter maintenance plan you can adjust any time. Features like reading an appliance label from a photo are in development and will roll out to early-access members first. You'll always review anything before it's saved.
HOUM is launching in Texas first, with other states to follow. Anyone can join the early-access list, and we'll let you know when HOUM arrives in your state.
